Is there a new man in popular TV star Divyanka Tripathi's life? Rumours are flying thick and fast that Divyanka is enjoying the company of Eddie Wong, the owner of a Chinese eatery in Mumbai.
A source says, "Divyanka was introduced to Eddie by her close friend Anita Hasanandani. Anita had a party in Wong's restaurant where Divyanka met him for the first time."
Both, Divyanka and Anita have been last seen in Ekta Kapoor's Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. While Anita is definitely out of the show since May, SpotboyE.com has it that Divyanka too might quit the show soon.
Not so long ago, Divyanka was in a steady relationship with TV actor Sharad Malhotra (of Banno Main Teri Dulhan fame). The two decided to part ways in March after seven years of being together. In a joint statement issued by the two to a section of the media, they announced: The decision of calling off the relationship is mutual. We had a beautiful journey and the most lovely memories are helping us part ways cordially. Yet, it’s a painful process and speculations only increase the pain. We request the media to be considerate. This is the final word on this subject and we wont be talking about what went wrong in our relationship. We believe it wasnt destined to last.
So what went wrong in Divyanka and Sharad's love story? Well, Divyanka wanted to get married and Sharad wanted to remain single for a while. A friend of Sharad says, "He told Divyanka that his mother is unwell and she should wait for few months, but Divyanka was in a hurry. It was a big misunderstanding. They looked so good together."
When SpotboyE.com contacted Divyanka, she claimed that she is not dating Wong but added, "Eddie is a sweet, friendly guy. We have barely met twice or thrice." Hmmm...
